My father used to say, “You don’t stop fighting till you stop breathing.” I’ve carried that with me my whole life.

I know what it means to fight for your home. I grew up on a struggling farm that the bank eventually took.

I know what it means to fight for a small business. I built one from nothing, then shared our success by giving employees free college and partner benefits so no family struggles like mine did.

And I know what it means to fight Donald Trump. I voted twice to impeach him, defended Obamacare, and stood up for reproductive rights, even personally funding a women’s health clinic when West Virginia banned abortion so women still had somewhere safe to go. I personally paid for immigration lawyers after Trump attacked Muslim immigrants, too.

Maryland deserves a Member of Congress who never backs down.

I’ve spent my life fighting, and I’m ready to keep fighting for you.
